Prevent data loss with store and send later
Devices record position data independently of transmitting it. If a location is collected successfully but the transmission to the cloud fails, that data will be stored and retried later.
Devices can store up to 1000 points, allowing for significant periods of operation “off-grid”
High Resiliency
Our cloud servers operate with high reliability (99.95% up time) so it is rare for a device to transmit only to find out no-one is listening. However, it is unfortunately fairly common for mobile networks to go down temporarily or for connectivity to be patchy.
Having this on device buffer means that even if updates are not immediate, they will always eventually be visible in the app.
